About Me
I was born and raised in a small town in southern Louisiana. After high school, I ventured out and pursued a degree at the University of New Orleans. After two years of accumulating student loan debt and not having a single clue what I wanted to do with my life, I did what any broke college student would do: I enlisted in United States military. I joined the Air Force at twenty-two years old and was stationed in Alaska for four years. While in Alaska, I endured many harsh winters, which mostly involved me sitting in my apartment reading anything I could get my hands on. I finished my service, became a mom, and a year ago decided to return to UNO with my newfound love for English. Check out my portfolio and articles for my latest literary work.
